This division, operating under the name City Concrete, is one of the largest ready-mix concrete suppliers in Namibia. With plants located in Windhoek and Swakopmund, City Concrete provides excellent service and quality for residential, commercial or other construction projects.

 

The division utiises a state of the art batch plant which is capable of delivering 90 cubes of ready-mix concrete an hour at optimal efficiency. It utilises two 36m pumps and Namibia’s first 42m pump supported with 12 ready mix trucks. Customised mix designs and consultation are available on request.

With a throughput between 50 000m3 to 80 000m3, City Concrete can deliver the required needs within time and expected quality. Over recent years City Concrete has been able to deliver top quality conrete to the following major projects:

Hosea Kutako International Airport (Dordabis Interchange): Approximately 5 000m3 of concrete supplied within a 6 month period.

Okahandja / Windhoek Dual Carriage A1 Road: Approximately 50 000m³ concrete supplied in total from 10MPa to 40MPa mixes.

Hilltop Village: 7 180m3 concrete supplied in total from 10Mpa to 30Mpa mixes

Nedbank Campus Namibia: 15 680m³ concrete supplied in total from 10MPa to 40MPa mixes

New head offices Building (RA):  9 035m³ concrete supplied in total from 10MPa to 40MPa mixes

18 March 2021 marked a historic moment for City Concrete where 1 000m3 of concrete was delivered in one order for the Gross Barmen interchange bridge on the A1 road between Windhoek and Okahandja.

This averaged at just less than 90m3 per hour.
